Maybe it was not to be.
I ordered a lampshade.
Was contacted by Homestead expressing concern whether the size was a good fit.
I confirmed I am okay with size.
Then was told it was the last of its kind in stock and the frame was damaged.
Was convinced to accept an alternative lampshade. Not my first choice, but doable, so I accepted. I was very impressed with how Homestead went out of their way to get it to me quick, and the trouble taken to find me a suitable replacement.
Alas, the lampshade within a day formed 'bubbles', apparently as it wasn't left to dry properly. I have no energy left to report it and go thru the process again, so I will tolerate it, albeit with eyes caste sideways when I enter my foyer.
